a little about our history
Jimmy and Judy Brumley opened their Postal Instant Press (PIP) operation in February of 1983. At that time, they were the youngest owners in the network, just married and had the drive to succeed no matter what!
The business began on South Church Street in Burlington as a very new concept, “While You Wait Printing.” It evolved through the years with constant growth, needing more space and moving to Chapel Hill Road, where the business took on commercial printing gear provided for larger clients' needs. The current location on South Main Street in Burlington is where the business grew from print to marketing services and signage production and fabrication. In 2014, the team purchased the Greensboro/High Point PIP. The name changed to PIP Triad with a sales and marketing office in Greensboro. Operations, production, fabrication, and fulfillment is handled out of their 36,000 square foot facility located in downtown Burlington. Today, the operation services accounts all over the south, with signage, print, marketing, and window films solutions. The online ordering makes it a desktop to desktop business with convenience and excellent service. Through 40 years in business, the Brumleys have grown their business from a 2-person operation to 25 employees. In 2021, Mark Hildebrandt joined as a partner, with a focus on continued growth and new product solutions. Jimmy and Judy had no idea how large their operation would be. They knew hard work and dedicated service to customers, while taking care of their employees, would pay off. |
